The RP3 Rowing Software is available in the form of an app – the full version is available for android devices running Android 6.0 and onwards and a “lite” version exists for iOS devices.

Follow the links for your device to download or update the app.

The Amazon Fire is an Android device that works well with the full software but doesn't feature the Google Play Store, hence the link to ApkPure.

CONNECTING YOUR DISPLAY

Cable -

An android device can be connected to any model of RP3 provided it has an interface (all machines from 2013 onwards) via a cable connector.

Simply connect the cable between your machines and device when the RP3 App is open and select the RP3 USB interface from the device list under “Devices” on the app home screen.

Please contact us if you require a replacement cable.

Bluetooth -

For post 2018 Model S and all Model T machines, connection via Bluetooth is available in addition to cabled connection. This is also the only way to connect to an iOS device.

To connect via Bluetooth, first take a few strokes to wake up the machine and then select the RP3 Bluetooth interface that corresponds to the code on the machine you are using. For the Model T, push the built-in display back to reveal the interface code, on Model S it is shown on the tablet mount.

Please note that for Model S machines, Bluetooth connection is powered by a rechargeable power pack that requires manual recharge.

SETTING UP A WORKOUT

To set up a workout for individual distances, times or stroke counts or to set up intervals including rest periods, tap “Trainings” from the home screen of the App. This will take you to the stored workouts you have already created or give you the option to create new ones.

To create a new workout tap “+ Create A Training” in the top right corner of the screen. From this display you can add varying or repeating intervals or a combination of both.

The example below shows a workout created for a set of six 500 metre sprints with two minutes of rest and includes a 10 minute warm up and a 5 minute cool down.

Remember to give your workout a name so you can easily differentiate it in the “Trainings” menu.

After you have created your workout, simply tap on it and start rowing to begin it.
